EASTERN OREGON MISSION
Eastern Oregon Mission is a community-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need throughout Hermiston and Umatilla County. Guided by compassion and faith, our mission is to provide essential resources, support, and hope to those experiencing hardship, fostering lasting change and self-sufficiency. We are committed to treating everyone with dignity, creating a welcoming environment for all, including veterans, seniors, farm workers, and low-income families, where everyone is valued and encouraged to thrive.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
AGAPE HOUSE FOOD PANTRY
Agape House opened its doors on Aug. 5, 1986,an outreach of Eastern Oregon Mission. We serve as both a resource center and food pantry. We offer groceries lasting three days, along with clothing, essential items, and various supportive services for individuals and families facing challenging situations. Agape House is a community assistance center serving Umatilla County, providing direct help to individuals and families experiencing crisis or ongoing financial hardship.
MARTHA'S HOUSE FAMILY TRANSITIONAL HOUSING SHELTER
Martha’s House opened in March 2013 is a Family Transitional Housing Shelter an outreach program of Eastern Oregon Mission, that provides safe, temporary housing and support services for families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Through case management, life skills training, and community partnerships, Martha’s House helps residents build the tools they need to achieve long-term stability, independence, and self-reliance.
